Caribou-Yvette Marie Deveau, 94, passed away peacefully February 18, 2017 at Caribou. She was born in Frenchville, August 22, 1922 the daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (Gagnon) Bouchard. She married Leo Deveau June 17, 1940 and he predeceased her in 1999. Mrs. Deveau worked alongside her husband, Leo at Briggs Hardware and Bag Company for many years. She was a longtime faithful member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She is survived by her daughter Betty Deveau of Caribou, two sisters, Annette Kelsea and husband Howard and Germaine Albair. A brother Lucien Bouchard as well as several special nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Sacred Heart Cemetery at a date and time to be announced by the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
