Woodland – Linda Bouchard Waugh, 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior March 23, 2019 at Presque Isle.  Linda was born in Fort Fairfield, January 28, 1948 the daughter of the late Joseph and Letha (Fay) Bouchard.  She was a graduate of Fort Fairfield High School and was employed as the office manager at WFST Radio for a number of years.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who home schooled her girls and was a pioneer to home schooling in Northern Maine in the 1980’s.  She was a member of the Caribou United Baptist Church and served on the board of directors at Northern Broadcast Ministries, WFST for nearly 30 years.  Linda loved gardening, especially in her garden boxes, was a wonderful cook, and was a mentor to numerous women during her lifetime.  She was a selfless person and always thought of family and friends first.  She epitomized the Proverbs 31 woman, and was always telling others about Jesus.  Surviving in addition to her husband of over 51 years, Richard Waugh of Woodland are her three daughters, Marilee Scott, husband Jeremy and grandson Shayne, Holly Frank and husband Brad all of Caribou, Christa Waugh of Woodland, four sisters, Betty Marcum and husband Sam of Florida, Lorraine Berry of Vermont, Nancy Ernst and husband Richard of Iowa and Janice LaBrie and husband Al of Florida, six brothers, Patrick Bouchard of Virginia, Steve Bouchard and wife Mary of Iowa, Tom Bouchard and wife Joan of Lewiston, Bob Bouchard and wife Virginia, Jim Bouchard and wife Beverly all of Virginia, and David Bouchard of Alabama, a brother-in-law Elden Rothe of Michigan, numerous nieces and nephews..  Linda was predeceased by her parents, a sister Verona Rothe, and a sister-in-law Evelyn Bouchard. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 12 noon until time of services.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Jewell and Rev. Mark Carter officiating.
