LIMESTONE – Reginald L. Ward, 92, passed away December 6, 2018 at Caribou. He was born in Limestone, December 3, 1926 the son of the late Marion and Theresa (Lauritsen) Ward. Reginald attended Limestone High School. On August 22, 1950, Reginald married Arlene S. Brown and together they shared 68 years of marriage. Mr. Ward was a longtime farmer in the Limestone area, and was also a potato inspector for the state of Maine for a number of years. Reginald was active in the Caribou Hoofers, square dancing group, and in the FFA. In addition to his wife, Arlene, of Presque Isle, he is survived by three children and their spouses, M. Jeffrey Ward and spouse Richard Elias of South Portland, Larry L. Ward and spouse Alexis of Caribou, and Karyn S. Knights and spouse Rod of Windham, three grandchildren, Erin McShea and spouse Richard, Zachary Knights and spouse Nicole, and Megan Knights, two great-granddaughters, Sydney and Sarah McShea, and one brother, Perry and spouse Betty of Cumberland, IN. Reginald was predeceased by siblings, Josiah and Morris Ward, Ruth Ireland, Virginia Libby Prout, and Gloria Wiley. Friends may visit with the family at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 1pm to 3pm. Spring interment will be in the Webster Cemetery, Limestone.
