Perham-Tonya Elaine Wardwell 71, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 30, 20l6 at Mars Hill. Tonya was the eldest sibling of five children born to Calvin and Faye (Bowels) Wardwell of Perham, Tonya was a loving daughter and sweet older sister, teaching her siblings to read, write, recite poetry, and ride a bicycle. She had a beautiful sopranovoice and was often called on to sing by friends and family.She is survived by her mother, Faye Wardwell of Perham, her two sisters and brothers in law, Linda and Robert James of Pioneer, California, Ruth and David Brown of Palm Bay, Florida, her two brothers and sisters in law, Samuel and Paula Wardwell of Edgewood, New Mexico, and Scott and Angela Wardwell of Presque Isle. Several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Washburn Pentecostal Church from 10:00am Wednesday May 4, 2016 until time of services which will be held at 11:00am with Rev. Bruce Blakney, officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Perham.
