Timothy Rand

CARIBOU - Timothy A. Rand, 67, died unexpectedly December 3, 2024 in Caribou. He was born in Caribou, February 15, 1957 the son of the late Alex and Ellen (Butler) Rand. Tim was a graduate of Caribou High School, and was employed by McCains for several years and by Asplund. He was a jack of all trades who enjoyed woodworking, and carpentry. Time loved spoiling his pets and they miss him dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Cochran) Rand, and by a daughter, Colleen Dougherty and husband Mike, his step-children, Jimmy Trotter, Jessie Trotter Sinclair, Tyler Doody and Darrell Doody. Tim is also survived by his brothers, Alex Rand Jr., Danny Rand, Nick Rand and wife Sandy, and William Rand and wife Brenda, sisters, Jean McDivitt and husband Ron, Joan Giles and husband Mark, Carla Haines and husband Wayne, a brother-in-law, Fernand Ouellette, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Ouellette. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 12PM until time of services which will be held at 2PM from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Roger Jewell officiating. Interment will be in the spring in Fairmount Cemetery.
