Theresa Andrews

Woodland - Theresa Andrews, 87, passed away February 27, 2024 at Caribou following a long illness. She was born in Caribou, December 28, 1936 the daughter of the late Leon and Rose Anna (Paradis) Plourde. Theresa attended the Holy Rosary Convent and was a graduate of Caribou High School. She married Roger Andrews July 18, 1955. Mrs. Andrews was a lifelong member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she was actively involved with Catholic Golden Age, and was also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the Daughters of Isabella. She was also a member of the Woodland Extension for many years. Theresa was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband of over 68 years, Roger of Woodland are her children, Christine Andrews of Westfield, MA, Mark Andrews and wife Cheryl of Caribou and Susan Andrews of NH, one sister Anne Plourde of MA, her grandchildren; Elizabeth Jones and husband Ryan, Lindsey Andrews, Kellyn Richard and Emma Richard, great grandchildren, Chloe Jones, Ella Saunders and Nora Jones, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Andrews was predeceased by sisters, Emma Whitt, Louise Espling, Elizabeth Beaulieu, Rita Phelan, Laura Sweeney, Cecile Espling, Regina Beaumiere and Florence White, brothers, Louis, Joseph and George Plourde. Private family services will be held. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Caribou Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for the fine care and compassion shown to Theresa throughout the years. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
