Nelson Soucy

CONNOR TWSP - Nelson J. Soucy, 56, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at his residence. Nelson was born April 6, 1963 in Van Buren the son of the late Maurice T. and Anita Soucy of Connor. He graduated from Caribou High School in 1981. He was a loving and devoted father to Anita.   He assisted his brother Yvan in starting up his business in Connecticut. He was a hard worker at Guerrette Farms and was a "jack-of-all trades" and was dedicated to his work. He enjoyed making others laugh, and spent most of his time playing with his beloved dogs, Shelby, Abby, and Tucker, as well as his other animals. He had a big heart and would help anyone who asked. He will be missed by many. He is survived by his daughter Anita, and her significant other Adam LeFrancois of Connor, his siblings, Josee’ Strachan and her husband Robb of Calgary, Alberta, Bobby Soucy of Connor, Norman Soucy of Woodland and his significant other Camille Desire, Gerald Soucy and his wife Jenelyn Lacson Soucy of Quezon, Philippines, and Jim Soucy and his Tammy Soucy of Connor, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Maurice and Anita, and brother Yvan. Friends may call Friday, July 5, 2019 from 6 to 8pm at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Parish of the Precious Blood, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, North Caribou. Following the services, all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and light refreshments at the Parish Hall.
