Washburn-Sidney P Whitmore 83 husband of Alberta (Little) Whitmore, died November 7, 2012 at Caribou. He was born in Fort Fairfield September 7, 1929 the son of the late Dyke and Addie Whitmore. Mr. Whitmore served with the US Army and was employed by several area potato growers. He is survived by his wife Alberta of Washburn, two sons and a daughter in law, Louis Michaud of Caribou and Jerry and Pattie Corriveau of California. Two daughters and a sons in law, Jackline and Mike Martin of Washburn and Jeannie and Rick Cole of Florida. One brother Floyd Whitmore of Farmington, two sisters Rosella and her husband Roger Chouteau and Gladys Cyr. His brothers and sisters in law; Rosie Cuff, Bessie and Jimmy Paul and Joan Pelkey, a daughter in law Kelly as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Whitmore was predeceased by a son Stanley. Graveside memorial services with military honors will be held 1:00pm Friday November 10, 2012 at the Greenridge Cemetery with Pastor Matt Palmer, officiating.
