Shirley M Cote

Waterbury: Shirley M. (Little) Cote-passed away November 2, 2024 at the age of 91.

She was born October 27, 1933 in Woodland, ME and was the daughter of the late Amos and Ella (Drost) Little.

She loved spending time with family, and adored her grandchildren and loved her children, above all she loved Jesus her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading and her cross-word puzzles.

She is predeceased by her husband of 70 years Melvin Cote and two sons, Sheldon Cote of Missouri and Luke Cote of Waterbury, Son-in-law Marty Carlson of Woodstock CT, and 5 brothers.

She is survived by sons, Arnold Cote (Denise) of Old Saybrook, CT, Dale Cote (Teresa) of Bristol, CT, Dana Cote of Waterbury, CT, daughters Diana Monti (Michael) of Waterbury, Kathleen Carlson, of Woodstock, Ct, Nadine Velez, (Jorge) of Waterbury, CT, Cindy Ferrera (Michael) of Berlin, CT. Twenty Grandchildren, Twenty-eight great grandchildren, and Three Great, Great grandchildren, her sisters Phyllis Jones (Charles) of NY, Merleen Cote (Lue) of Waterbury, CT, Grace Cocchiola (Michael) of Waterbury, CT, sisters-in-Law Lula Johnston and Delores Cote, both of Woodland, ME. Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are at 11 AM on Tuesday Nov. 5, 2024 at Living Faith Church 69 Prospect Rd. in Waterbury with calling hour from 10 to 11 AM.
