Sheila R. Archer

Sheila Raye Archer, 75 died Oct. 14, 2024 at Caribou following a period of declining health. She was born in Presque Isle Feb. 21,1949 the daughter of the late Clarence and Amber (Rose) Archer. She attended Presque Isle Schools as well as the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Sheila was employed at Tater State for many years as well as William White in Crouseville for 25 years. She attended the Abundant Life Mission and truly loved camping and traveling. Sheila also did creative memories scrapbooking for many years. She had two beloved pets, Tramp her poodle and Buttercup her cat. She is survived by her husband Lloyd Tibbs of Caribou, One son Glenn Philbrook and wife Amy and one daughter Peggy Carney all of Presque Isle. Two brothers Greg Archer of Mapleton and Graydon Archer of Fairborn, Ohio. One sister Cathy Blair of Brewer. Two grandchildren: Dustin and Trevor Carney and one great grandson Kyler Carney. Her mother-in-law Donna Tibbs and two nieces Amber Cannata and Sommer Slater, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. Sheila was predeceased by a brother Alan Archer. Memorial services will be held 12:00 noon Friday Oct. 25, 2024 from the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir St Caribou with Pastor Loretta Doody, officiating. Interment will be in the Mapleton Cemetery.
