Shawn L. Beaulieu, 52, died unexpectedly in Fort Fairfield on July 28, 2024. He was born in Presque Isle, May 23, 1972 the son of Michael and Fernande (Thibodeau) Beaulieu. He was a 1990 graduate of Presque Isle High School, and following graduation enlisted in the United States Army proudly serving his country until he had to be medically discharged following a helicopter accident. Shawn loved life, and loved people. He was always ready to lend a hand to others, and was a beloved “Bampy” to his grandchildren. He had recently had begun flying drones, which he enjoyed. He is survived by his parents of St. Basile, New Brunswick, Canada, his fiancé Kelly St. Peter of Caribou, brother, Timothy M. Beaulieu of Sterling, Colorado, half-siblings, Todd Beaulieu and wife Lorie of Orrington, Jeff Beaulieu of Mapleton, and Alison Erimita and husband Peter of Westbrook, and Nick Beaulieu and wife Joan of Atlanta, GA, step-children, Wynonna Lacroix of Caribou and Jayson J. Lacroix and partner Shelby Shaw of Presque Isle, his beloved step-grandchildren who he loved as his own, Issac, Zoey, Justin, Jemma, and Jasper. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 12PM at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
