Caribou-Rudolph P. Martin 86, died unexpectedly November 14, 2012 at Bangor. He was born in Lawrence MA. June 29, 1926 the son of the late Levi and Beatrice (Corriveau) Martin. Mr. Martin was a self employed carpenter in the Caribou area for many years. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was also a longtime fourth degree member of the Fred V. Brescia Council 1870 Knights of Columbus. Rudolph enjoyed spending time with his family and especially enjoyed fishing. Surviving in addition to his wife Virginia (Caron) Martin of Caribou are three brothers, Leo Martin of Caribou and Francis and Elmer Martin of California. Four sisters; Thelma Brownstein, of AZ, Rita Michaud, Gloria Smith and Lorraine Roy all of CT., Two grandchildren, Nicole and Ricky as well as many nieces and nephews including a special niece, Gail Nadeau, her husband Tony and their children. Mr. Martin was predeceased by a son Richard two brothers Robert and Gerard and a sister Cecile. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou 6-8 pm Sunday . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Monday November 19, 2012 from the Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
