Caribou-Rosaire R. Devost, 84 died September 14, 2013 at Caribou. He was born in St. Anne N.B. Canada February 26, 1929 the son of the late Mack and Helene (Clavette) Devost. He married Sady Martin in 1951. Mr. Devost was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was also a longtime Fourth Degree member of the Fred V. Brescia Council 1870 Knights of Columbus. He was employed by the Maine Department of Transportation, retiring as superintendent of the Caribou Division, after 32 years of service. Surviving in addition to his wife of over 62 years, Sady of Caribou are his son, Dean Devost of Colorado, his two daughters, Barbara Tarbox and husband Donald Jr. of Washburn and Linda Bercht of Caribou. Seven grandchildren, nine grandchildren, two brothers, four sisters, a former son in law, Warren Harris, several nieces and nephew. Mr. Devost was predeceased by six brothers and sisters and two grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am Friday September 20,2013 from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church Caribou
with Fr. Emile Dube officiating.
