Caribou-Ronald R. Bouchard, 85 died peacefully April 20, 2014 surrounded by his children. He was born in Caribou April 19, 1929 the son of the late Willard and Corinne (Devost) Bouchard. Mr. Bouchard was employed as a farmer for Bouchard Potato Company, Red Ball Potato, retired from Blue Star and later worked for Guerrette Farms. He was a lifelong member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mr. Bouchard was predeceased by his brother Leonide and a son Michael. He is survived by his daughters; Carol Bouchard of Eddington, Bonnie Clary of Mineral Wells, Texas, Debra Bouchard of Lee’s Summit, MO., his sons Brent Bouchard of Caribou and Scott Bouchard of Northport, FL., Seven grandchildren; Jamie, Jason, Sherri, Daniel, Scott, Scotty, and Chance. Six great grandchildren; Daniel, Dillan, Kathleen, Ethan, Gabriella, and Leah. The mother of his children Mavis Bouchard of Van Buren and his beloved and faithful dog Tootsie, who never left his side. He will also be missed by his companion and special friend Marilyn Pearson of New Sweden and her family, as well as his fishing and hunting buddies and the McDonalds morning coffee boys. Ronald was an avid outdoorsman and loved riding around area farms with his friend Marilyn and Tootsie taking many pictures of moose, deer and bear and other nature shots. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou 6-8 pm Wednesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00am Thursday April 24, 2014 from the Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
