CARIBOU and YORK, SC – Rona Marie Hart, 74,wife of the late David G. Hart Sr., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 25, 2016 at her York, SC home. She was born June 1, 1942 in Caribou, the daughter of the late Lucien and Cecile (Fisher) Dionne. She attended Caribou schools, and was a communicant of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, she also attended St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Washburn and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Presque Isle. Rona dearly loved her pets, especially her dogs and cats and deeply cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She had been a resident of York, SC for the past 7 years. In addition to her parents, Rona was predeceased by her husband, David, on August 19, 2004 and by a grandson, Jonah Hart. She is survived by two sons, David G. Hart Jr. of Newport, Leroy Scott Hart and his wife Shanna of Presque Isle, four daughters, Rona Hart and her companion Calvin Green of Caribou, Grace Terrill and her husband Wesley of Newport, Karen Hart of Caribou, and Crystal Brown of NH, one brother and sister-in-law, Lucien Dionne Jr. and Jackie of CT, six sisters and brothers-in-law, Viola Chambers of Copenhagen, NY, Reona and Robert Canny of West Hartford, CT, Aurora and Warren Fruesher of Haggerton, MD, Lucienne and Charles O’Connelle of Long Beach, MS, Cora Green and her companion Mike of Caribou, Dolores St. Amand of South Bend, IN, eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 6 to 8pm at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 11am at the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Caribou, with V. Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie celebrant. Interment will follow at the Northern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Caribou.
