Limestone – Rhea Gendreau, 95, wife of the late Ned Gendreau died November 14, 2014 at Bangor. She was born in Grand Isle, March 13, 1919 the daughter of the late Eddie and Alice (Clavette) Gendreau. Mrs. Gendreau was a longtime faithful member of St. Louis Catholic Church and was a lifelong member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She is survived by her children, Velma Brown of Warren, NH, Jeanine O’Bar and husband George and Lorraine Gendreau all of Limestone, Jos. L. C. “Clarence” Gendreau and wife Sin Cha of Clarksville, TN, Reynold Gendreau and his wife Cher of Reading, PA, Judy Bell and her husband James, Annette Tardy and husband Larry and Ellen S. Gendreau and life partner Preston “Prep” Dumond all of Limestone. Two sisters, Althena Lathem and Mary Ann Chasse and husband Gerald all of Van Buren, 18 Grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gendreau was predeceased by her husband Ned and a son Vernon, siblings, Orena Gagnon, Gladys Laplante, Germaine St. Amand, Conrad, Percy, Hector, Lucienne, Ernestine and Walter Gendreau. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou from 7-9pm Tuesday, November 18, 2014. A mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00am Wednesday at Parish of the Precious Blood St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone. Interment will be in the St. Louis Cemetery. Following the service all are invited to a continued time of fellowship and refreshments at the parish hall.
