Real C. Michaud

August 23, 1940 — January 31, 2016

Caribou-Real C. Michaud, 75 passed away January 31, 2016 at Orono following a long battle with dementia. He was born in Notre Dame de Lourdes Quebec August 23, 1940, the son of the late Leonide and Antoinette (Belanger) Michaud. On January 24, 1961 he married his soul mate Adrienne Martin. He was employed by Guerrette Sales as well as Vernon Levesque Well Drilling for many years. Mr. Michaud was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a Fourth Degree member of the Fred V. Brescia Council 1870 Knights of Columbus. He loved fishing, camping and hunting. He especially loved the smell of fall leaves on the ground. He was a hard working man who was always willing to help anyone in need. Surviving in addition to his wife of over 55 years, Adrienne of Caribou, are one daughter Brigitte Commerford and husband Robert of Stetson, three sons; Charles Michaud and wife Tammy of Woodland and twin sons, Gerry Michaud and wife Pamela of Temple, TX., and Larry Michaud and wife Joan of Caribou. Four sisters; Brigitte Michaud, Monique Michaud, Irene Violette and Doreen Couture. Two brothers; Roger and Jean-Claude Michaud. Eleven grandchildren, Eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mr. Michaud was predeceased by his beautiful granddaughter, Cassandra, three brothers; Alyre, Camille and Roland, two sisters, Diana Maltais and Rolande Michaud. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 am, Saturday February 6, 2016 from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Kyle Doustou, officiating.
