Woodland – Randall Merritt Johnson, 78, died unexpectedly March 27, 2024 at his Woodland residence. He was born in Caribou, May 3, 1945 the son of the late Nobel and Lillian (Anderson) Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a 1963 graduate of Caribou High School, and served with the United States Navy retiring as Senior Chief after 26 years of service. He was a faithful member of the Framework Church. He is survived by his children, Erik Larkin and significant other Dayna Christie of Brooklyn, CT, Sue Holley and husband Bobby of Mesa, AZ, Robert Curtis of Virginia Beach, VA, and Sara Gannon of Norfolk, VA, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, including a special great-nephew, Brett Johnson. Mr. Johnson was predeceased by three brothers, Ronald, Kenton, and Larry Johnson, five sisters, Della Hanson, Barbara Sutherland, Shirley Thibodeau, Marjorie Cole, and Janice Rice. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 6p.m. until 8p.m. at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 1PM from the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Bud Fancy officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
