Peter H. Paul

Peter H. Paul, 80, died December 1, 2024 in Caribou following a period of declining health. He was born in Houlton, December 20, 1943 the son of the late Herbert F. and Caroline J. (Sewell) Paul. Following high school graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army proudly serving his country during Vietnam. He later earned an associates degree from Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute. Peter was a self employed plumbing/heating technician for many years. He was a life member of the American Legion, and was also a member of the Presque Isle Elk’s Lodge.

Peter is survived by his two daughters, Penney Siddiqui and husband Jay of Easton, and Jenny Paul of Presque Isle, his sister, Mary Edgecomb and husband Jeff of Caribou, and his grandchildren, Abigail Siddiqui, Liam Siddiqui, Lauren Johnson, and Caleb Paul. He was predeceased by his parents, and by siblings, Patsyann “Sally” Quimby, Patrick F. Paul I, George E. Paul, Matthew D. Paul, and Nathan G. Paul.

Graveside services with military honors will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 10AM at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Lombard Road, Caribou. The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to the staff at the Maine Veterans Home in Caribou for the wonderful care that Peter received.
