Caribou-Peter Longley 69, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, surrounded by his loving family March 21, 2011 at Caribou following a brief illness. He was born in Caribou February 15, 1942 the son of the late Peter and Alice (Theriault) Longley Sr. Mr. Longley was a self employed farmer and potato grower having farmed on the Van Buren Road in Caribou for many years. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Edmundston, N.B.. He married Yvette Dube January 2, 1971. Surviving in addition to his wife, Yvette of Caribou are his four daughters; Dr Cindy Bouchard and her husband Chad, Gina, Denise and Bridget Longley all of Caribou. His two grandsons Abraham and Benjamin. Mr. Longley was predeceased by a sister Irene Nadeau. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4pm Friday at the Family Christian Center Presque Isle. A celebration of Mr. Longley’s life will be held at 4:00 pm with Rev. Gail Bellamy, officiating.
