Caribou-Percy J. Levesque 83, died August 4, 2014 at his Caribou residence following a long illness. He was born in Madawaska, April 23, 1931 the son of the late Joyme and Irene (Cyr) Levesque. Percy left Madawaska in 1951 where he worked DHR in East Hartford Connecticut for many years before starting his own construction business. He married Pauline Hoode April 23, 1955. In 1970 Mr. Levesque returned to Caribou, where he purchased the Loring Motel and Trailer Park. He also continued in the construction field, building numerous homes in the Caribou area. In 1978, he sold his business and moved to Fort Myers Florida, where he purchased and operated a trailer park there. After several years, he sold that business to retire and move back to Caribou. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was also a fourth degree member of the Fred V. Brescia Council Knights of Columbus. Surviving in addition to his wife of over 59 years, Pauline of Caribou are his two sons Russell Levesque and his spouse Susan Lally and Robert Levesque and his significant other Wilma Ouellette all of Caribou. Four brothers and sisters-in-law Willard and Aline Levesque and Vernon and Hughette Levesque all of Caribou, Raymond and Nicole Levesque of Frenchville and Ernie and Edith Levesque of Madawaska. Two Grandchildren, Jason Levesque and his significant other Desiree Matoon of Caribou and Justin Levesque and wife Erica of Bowdoin, one great grandchild Benton Levesque of Caribou and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Levesque was predeceased by a brother Richard. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou from 5-7pm Saturday August 9, 2014 where evening prayer services will be held at 7pm. Following the service all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at Percy and Pauline’s home, 18 Noyes Road, Caribou.
