Caribou-Pauline M. Woods, 62 died October 31, 2012 at Bangor She was born in Caribou July 24, 1950 the daughter of the late Eddie and Lottie (Guerrette) Belanger. Paulinegraduated from the Caribou school system and worked in retail for several years. She married Roy E. Woods April 20, 1995. Pauline was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was actively involved with the Caribou CERT and numerous Caribou Fire and Ambulance Department functions, drills and events. She was a dedicated homemaker and will be fondly remembered for her sewing and crafting abilities. No one would know, probably not even Pauline, the many thousands of patches and name tags that she sewed on and the many uniforms that she mended for emergency responders from all over the county, usually with a smile and “I’ll catch you next time”. Pauline, like her mother was a “social butterfly”. She truly enjoyed being around others and was most happy surrounded by her family and friends. Surviving in addition to her husband and best friend of twenty two years, "Roy“Jack” Woods of Caribou are her son Scott Harmon of Caribou, her step son Darren Woods and his wife Lisa of Caribou, her step daughter, Karen Stack and her husband Stacey of Brewer. Three sisters and two brothers in law: Muriel and Ken Hartley of Caribou, Carolyn Parent of Connecticut, and Judy and Don Snell of Caribou. Two brother and sisters in law; Hector and Sherri Belanger and Michael and Tammy Belanger all of Caribou. Seven grandchildren, Shawn Holmquist, Dustin and Brandon Woods, Amanda, Katie, Siera and Kenny Kimball and a great grandson Brady. Many nieces and nephews, special friends Andy and Shirley Dumas, a sister in law Janet Woods of Caribou and her special four legged friends Teddy, Molly and Chewy. In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by her daughter Kelly Holmquist and her friend Alex, her grandson Trevor Holmquist and two brothers, Gary and Galen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Monday November 5, 2012 from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Following the service all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshements at the parish hall.Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
