Caribou - Pauline T. Emond 86, died May 23, 2024 at Caribou. She was born in Connor Township, April 23, 1938 the daughter of the late Paul and Annie (Dufour) Emond. She was a 1957 graduate of Marie-Joseph Academy in Biddeford Pool. She was employed as a lab technician at Birdseye General Foods in Caribou for over 25 years. She then retired from Burelles in Presque Isle. Pauline enjoyed doing puzzles, reading Amish novels, and studying the bible. She was known as “Sunny” and even at the age of 86 was known for her innocent yet mischievous blue eyes. She is survived by her half sister, Bernice “Bunny” Johndro, nieces, Lori and Andrea, nephews, Matthew and cousins, Joanne Levasseur, Bernadette Dube and Tammy Dube. She is also survived by her best friend Virginia’s grandson, David “Pup” Stewart II. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 at 12 Noon, in the Old Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
