Caribou-Paul Haley, 80, died October 30, 2012 at Caribou. He was born in Caribou April 27, 1932 the son of the late William and Cleo (Radcliff) Haley. Mr. Haley was a graduate of Caribou High School and served with the US Army from 1953-1956. He was a member of the Henry B Pratt Post 15 American Legion and enjoyed playing golf, building model boats and was known to play a “mean” game of pool in his day. He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Hunter of North Carolina, A dear friend and former spouse, Susan Trollinger of North Carolina, two grandchildren, Madison and Brooke Hunter, A niece Paula Farmer and her husband Raymond of Wiscasset, and a nephew Bill Haley and his family of Vinalhaven Island. Mr. Haley was predeceased by a brother Blair. Memorial services with military honors will be held 11:00 am Saturday November 3, 2012from the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home with Pastor Ellen Cleaves, officiating. Interment will take place in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery Caribou.
