Joe Ouellette, 38, of Woodland, Maine, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2023. Born on August 18, 1985, in Caribou, Joe was known to many as a guy with a big heart. He would give the shirt off his back if you needed it and was constantly concerned about the well-being of others. Joe had a deep love for his family, the outdoors and enjoyed spending time at the camp, working on various projects, and participating in demolition derbies. However, his greatest love was his son, Gage.
Joe is survived by his loving mother, Bonnie, his devoted father, Don, and his cherished son, Gage. He also leaves behind his aunts, uncles, cousins, and his dear friend, Joe McDougal. Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Anna, and his grandparents.
Joe received his education at Woodland Consolidated School and later attended Caribou High School. After his studies, he dedicated many years to working in the autobody industry and was well respected for his work.
A private ceremony will be held to honor Joe's life. Mockler Funeral Home in Caribou, Maine, is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Recovery Aroostook or Roads to Recovery, the charitable organizations that were close to Joe's heart.
During this difficult time, we remember Joe as a compassionate and selfless individual who touched the lives of those around him. His memory will forever live on in our hearts.
