Caribou-Norman F Akerson Sr. 80, died July 28, 2013 at Presque Isle. He was born in Woodland August 18, 1932 the son of the late Edward and Jennie Eldora (Nadeau) Akerson. Mr. Akerson served with the US Army and was employed by Warren Anderson Farms for many years. He is survived by his wife Jill (LaPointe) Akerson of Caribou, sons; Paul and Kirk Akerson both of Caribou, daughters; Beatrice Wilkins of Washburn and Roxie Martin of Clinton, stepdaughters; Kelley and Kimberly Pelkey both of Caribou. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren , nieces and nephews. Mr. Akerson was predeceased by a son Norman Jr. and two sisters, Alice Hartsgrove and Jennie Wright. A memorial service and interment will be held 10:00amFriday August 2,2013 at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery Caribou.
