Caribou – Muriel Theriault, 92, wife of the late Percy Theriault died April 27, 2021 at Limestone following a long illness. She was born in Caribou Mary 26, 1928 the daughter of the late George and Celia (Kinney) Thompson. Muriel was employed at Potato Service for many years and was a member of the Lister Knowlton Post 9389 VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a wonderful cook and loved to have family and friends over for meals, and many will remember her for her pickling, canning and fresh homemade donuts. The family recalls their dad bringing home 5-25# bags of Robin Hood flour at a time. She is survived by her children, Dorena Purkapile of AL., Donna and Johnny Brambitt of MS., Darlene and Delwood Hallett, Larry and Peggy Theriault and Priscilla Glass all of Caribou. 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild. Mrs. Theriault is predeceased by her husband Percy in 1991, and four children, Bernard Rediker, Carolyn Godin, Rodney and Randy Theriault. Family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Rising Hill Manor in Limestone for their fine care and compassion shown to Muriel and her family during her stay there. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou 6 – 8 pm, Friday, April 30, 2021. We ask that guests practice social distancing, wear a face covering, and be mindful that only a limited number of people are allowed in the building at a time. Graveside services for Muriel, and her son Randy, will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 1pm in the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
