David R. Masse

David R. Masse, 60, of Caribou passed away the morning of March 30th, 2020 in Presque Isle. He was born in Hartford, CT on December 23rd, 1959.  When he was 17, he enlisted in the national guard and served for 6 years.  He spent time as a manager at McDonald in Caribou.  He spent many years working construction with G&G Masse and several other companies.  Later in life he worked several years at Maine Bag.  Outside, he enjoyed fishing and spending time driving his Jeep.  Inside, he loved to sit in his rocking chair and watch the movies of his childhood on Turner Classic Movies. He is survived by son Lance Masse, daughter-in-law Emerald Masse, and step-daughter Lynn Place. He is also survived by former wife Patricia Masse, sister Tammy Pooler, sister Susan Staples, brother Glenn Masse and spouse Connie, brother Mark Masse and several dear nieces and nephews, Jessie Masse, Jenny Wohlfeil, Olivia Staples, Kyle Pooler, Renee Pooler, Logan Masse, and Luke Masse. He is predeceased by his parents Gerald and Carlene Masse, long time companion Cathy Place, and brother-in-law Kerry Staples. No funeral services will be held at this time. There will be a private ceremony with immediate family held at a later date.
