CARIBOU – Mary L. Guerrette, 80, died April 9, 2022 at Caribou following a brief illness. She was born in Caribou, February 7, 1942 the daughter of Joseph A. O’Clair and Cecile (Theriault) O’Clair. Mary will be remembered by many for her kind nature, she had the gift of making everyone feel special. She truly was a living angel who put everyone ahead of herself. She enjoyed caring for others, especially the elderly, and made friends with whomever she met. Mary is survived by her husband, Robert J. Guerrette Sr. of Caribou, two children, Roderick J. Guerrette and Cindy M. Reiff both of Caribou, a sister, Gert Miner and her husband Robert, 9 grandchildren, Adam Guerrette, Amanda Guerrette, Justin Reiff, Alayna Guerrette, Andrew Deisley, Joseph Boucher, Lauren Deisley-Schillinger, Jacob Deisley, and 10 great-grandchildren, Aria, Aliza, Stephan, Wyatt, Sam, Lexi, Krystal, Christian, Debra, and Xavier. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two of her children, Robert “Bobby” Guerrette, and Debra Ann Guerrette Boucher Deisley, a grandson, Tyler Guerrette, and 5 of her siblings, Gilbert O’Clair, Henry O’Clair, Blanche St. Peter, Anita Chambless, and Germain Damboise.
The family will host a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Spring interment will be in the New Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
