Caribou-Marie Rose (Gahagan) Cullins was wrapped in the love of her family when she entered the Kingdom of Heaven, October 21, 2013 at Caribou. She was born in Caribou April 15, 1936 the daughter of Thomas and Rose (Perreault) Gahagan. She grew up on a potato farm and was educated in the Caribou School system. While working at Birds Eye in Caribou, she met and then married the love of her life Arthur Cullins on June 30, 1958. Together, they had three children; Lynn Cullins, Bryan Cullins and Bonnie (Cullins) Theriault. They moved their family to New Sweden and worked side by side, operating A&M Texaco for many years. She was a faithful member of the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Marie was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. She was a kind compassionate person with a great sense of humor, who never judged anyone. She had a love of Blue Grass and Country Music and enjoyed singing and watching her husband play. She truly enjoyed watching and supporting her Grandchildren: Jeremy Shaw, Janelle Hardy, Joshua Akerson, Matt Cullins, Molli Cullins and great grandchildren: Manse, Myniah, Mykala, Lincoln and Liam. Surviving in addition to her husband of over 55 years, Art and her children are a sister Shirley Tracy and husband Phil, two brothers Lawrence Gahagan and wife Mavis, and Irvin Gahagan and wife Myrna. Mrs. Cullins was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Thomas and three sisters, Verna Perreault, Sylvia Ouellette and Beatrice Doody. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Saturday October 26, 2013 from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church Caribou. Following the service all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments with the family at the Parish center.
