Marie-Anne Dionne, 91 wife of the late Ernest Dionne died February 1, 2013 at Van Buren. She was born in Packington Quebec Canada August 12, 1921 the daughter of the late Christsostome and Marie (Bosse) Dube. Mrs. Dionne was a faithful and active member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality, Catholic Golden Age and sang in the church funeral choir. She was also a Eucharistic Minister and was very involved with the church’s hospitality ministry and the offertory ministry. Mrs. Dionne was a member of the Lister Knowlton Post 9389 VFW and the Henry B. Pratt Post 15, American Legion Ladies Auxiliaries. She is survived by two sons, Donald Dionne and wife Debby of Braden, Fl., and George Dionne and wife Linda of Lakeland, FL. One daughter Anne Marie Davenport and husband Dannie of Tinker, N.B. One sister Semelda Lavoie of St. Rose Quebec. Three grandchildren; Alicia, Johnathan and Miranda. Four great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dionne was predeceased by her husband Ernest in 2009, and brothers and sisters, Emery, Romeo, Raoul, Rolland and Robert Dube, Nora Michaud, Ernestine Lagasse, Ida Belzile, Irene Bujold and Donita Theriault. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir St Caribou, 9:00 am Monday February 4th 2013 until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie officiating. Interment will be in the Old Holy Rosary Cemetery. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Djuanda, the Staff at Cary Medical Center, Dr. Gautam and the staff at Borderview Manor for their compassionate and excellent care. Following the service, all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments in the parish center.
