CARIBOU – Margaret I. Adler, 92, passed away July 31, 2019 at Caribou. She was born at home in Limestone, December 5, 1926 the daughter of the late Alexander and Ellen (Griffeth) Fraser. On September 1, 1955 she married Hans Adler, and he predeceased her in 1981. She was a medical assistant for Dr. Leland White for many years, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and Gigi. Mrs. Adler was a longtime active member of the Caribou United Baptist Church, and was involved in the Rebecca Women’s Circle. She is survived by her three daughters, Kathy Adler of Caribou, Lynn and husband Paul Grant of Ellsworth, Ann Adler of Caribou, a son, Larry Adler of Ellsworth, a sister, Patricia Crowe of Tempe, AZ, grandchildren, Michael, Shae, Dale, Jessica, Hans, Kirk, Aaron, Morgan, and Miranda, great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Zander, Izabella, Ava, Brayden, Annabelle, Dale Jr., Dalton, and Felix. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Winston, Philip, Dale, and Preston Fraser, and a sister, Ella Leighton. Friends may visit with the family Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 12pm until time of services which will be held at 2pm from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Phelps officiating. Interment will be in the New Sweden Cemetery. Following the service all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the Caribou United Baptist Church.
