CARIBOU – Marie “Yvonne” Theriault, 82, died July 8, 2020 at Bangor. She was born in Stockholm, January 13, 1938 the daughter of the late Lewis and Marie “Alma” (Rossignol) Bossie. She was a graduate of Patten Academy, and was a Licensed Practical Nurse III at Cary Memorial Hospital and Cary Medical Center for over 50 years. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and was an active life member of the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 - VFW Ladies Auxiliary, as well as the Henry B. Pratt Post 15 American Legion. She was a member of the bridge clubs, two different bingo clubs, and was a member of the Ladies Friendship Club in Washburn. Surviving in addition to her husband, Joel Theriault of Caribou, are her children, Mary Williams and husband Richard of Fort Fairfield, Marc Johnson and wife Marilee of Woodland, Melanie Michaud Johnson and wife Gail Michaud Johnson of Orlando, FL, her  grandchildren, Ben McDonald, Clark, Brett and Colby Johnson, step grandchildren, Rosalie and Erin Williams, several great-grandchildren, a sister, Diana Ballard of Lincoln, her aunt, Roseanna Michaud, of Presque Isle. Mrs. Theriault was predeceased by brothers, William “Billy” Bossie and wife Arlene, Robert Bossie and wife Joanne, and Roger Bossie and wife Arlene, and a granddaughter, Meghann McDonald. A private family service will be held at the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou. Following the services all are invited to visit with the family for fellowship and refreshments at the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 VFW, Van Buren Road, Caribou, Friday, July 17, 2020 from 12pm-2pm, please be mindful of others by practicing social distancing and wearing a face covering. Interment will take place at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
