Loretta Eva (Cyr) Williams, 98, died October 2, 2024 at Caribou Rehabilitation and Nursing Center following a period of declining health. She was born in Limestone, the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Martin) Cyr.

Loretta married Arnold Williams on November 27, 1944, sharing nearly 70 years of marriage before his death in 2014. Together they farmed on the Lombard Road in Caribou. Loretta worked at L.S. Halls for 29 years, and then in her retirement she and her husband worked for North Maine Woods at the St. Juste gate. Loretta enjoyed sewing, gardening and planting flowers. She was known for her pumpkin and potato donuts during harvest. She was a member of the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.

Loretta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Williams Moir and husband Ronald of Woodland, her grandchildren, Lisa Moir Collins and husband Anthony of Cross Lake, Alan Moir and significant other Cindy Marquis, Jason Moir and wife Kristie, and Scott Moir and wife Neali all of Woodland. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Brandon and Bradley Doody, Emily Collins, Corey, Amber, Lane, Maren, Carter, and Brooke Moir, and two great - great-grandchildren, Lydia and Nolan. Loretta will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Lawrence and Claude Cyr, Anita Kidney and Georgette Fitzherbert, and a great-grandson, Taylor Doody.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Caribou Rehabilitation and Nursing Center staff for the wonderful care that she received during her time there. Private family interment will be held at the New Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
