David Alan Long

CARIBOU – David A. Long, 63, died unexpectedly December 21, 2018 at Bangor. He was born December 25, 1954 the son of Robert E. Sr. and Vivian (Hitchcock) Long. He was a 1973 graduate of Caribou High School, and upon graduation entered the US Coast Guard. He was employed as a computer technician by Burrelles for a number of years. Surviving in addition to his mother, Vivian, of Caribou, are two daughters, Jessica and Lisa, a brother, Robert E. Long Jr. and his wife Stephanie, and several cousins. He was predeceased by his father in 2004. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou Friday Decemebr 28, 2018 from 1pm until time of services, which will be held at 2pm from the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Troy Heald officiating. Spring interment with military honors will be in the Northern Maine Veterans’ Cemetery, Caribou.
