CARIBOU – Kirk A. Caldwell, 58, passed away March 12, 2021 at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle following a short battle with cancer. He was born in Fort Fairfield, July 28, 1962, the son of Gerard and Ann (McKenzie) Caldwell. Kirk was raised in Limestone and attended the Limestone Schools. Kirk worked for many businesses and residential clients at his drywall craft. Kirk was a man who quietly went about his life. Kirk was predeceased by his wife, Sherry (Mooney) Caldwell, his father, Gerald, his brother, Brian Caldwell, and his nephew, Jacob Caldwell. Kirk is survived by his mother, Ann, sisters, Cheryl Johndro and husband Dwain, Pamela Caldwell and husband Kevin Pelletier, all of Limestone, brothers, Terry Caldwell and wife Maria of Searsport, and Gary Caldwell of Caribou. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle for making Kirk’s last days peaceful. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Advent Cemetery in Limestone.
