Kevin Scott Bragdon

June 21, 1967 — April 16, 2022

Caribou and Jacksonville, FL-With sad hearts we announce the death of our brother Kevin Scott Bragdon (Scott). Scott succumbed to a long-term illness on April 16, 2022 at the Hadlow Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Florida. Scott enjoyed his final years in the southern climate collecting antiques and spreading his infectious smile and laugh amongst many friends and his cherished church family.

Scott graduated from Caribou High School and served in the United States Army as a medic.

Scott was predeceased by his mother Patsyann Evelyn (Paul) Quimby and by two nephews, Bryan and Ian Carter. He is survived by his father Carroll Bragdon of Seaford, Delaware; his stepfather David Quimby of Caribou, Maine; brother Terrance Carter and his wife Pat of Standish; brother Colon Carter and his wife Cindy of Hyde Park, Vermont; sister Ruth Rose of Bath, and sister Lisa Averell and her husband Michael of Richmond, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou. An hour of visitation will take place from 12 to 1, and the service will begin at 1 p.m. Due to covid concerns, a gathering will be held at a later date.
