Caribou-Keith Irving Tingley III passed away unexpectedly at the age of 32 on Friday October 6, 2017. He was born on August 4, 1985 in Springfield, Massachusetts, and later moved to Maine. He graduated from Caribou in 2011 and spent most of his adult life working alongside his father in the Plumbing and Heating industry.
Keith is survived by his Mother and Step-father Carrie and Dave Bell of Caribou, his father Keith Irving Tingley Jr. of Presque Isle, three sisters; Tina Cowett, Megan Bechard, and Melissa Embelton of Mapleton. He was the proud uncle of one niece Macy, and three nephews; Chase, Matthew and Jacob. He is also survived by many special aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be especially missed by his bestfriend Chad “Chewy” Burbee.
Keith was a sensitive, caring and special friend to all who knew him. The kind of person who would give the shirt off his back and lend an ear regardless of what was going on in his own life. Keith enjoyed spending time with friends and family, working on vehicles, hunting, fishing and camping in the North Maine Woods.
There will be a private family service following his cremation. In lieu of cards and flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in Keith’s name to Recovery Aroostook, 385 Washburn Road, Caribou, ME 04736.
