Woodland – Joseph C. Duheme., 83, died peacefully June 2, 2022 at the Aroostook House of Comfort, Presque Isle. He was born in Burke, New York, November 10, 1938, the son of the late Clarence and Aldina (Duval) Duheme. Joe attended the Chateauguay, New York schools and served in the U.S. Air Force. He married Norma Watson June 18, 1960 and she predeceased him March 2019. Joe was employed by TLC Medical Services for many years. He was an active member of the Caribou United Baptist Church where he served as head usher and was very involved with worship music as well as special musical events. He is survived by his two daughters, Kathy Boudreau and husband Jim of South Portland and Karen Duffy of Cromwell, Conn, two beloved grandchildren, Nicole Ray-Ettelman and her husband Ben of Austin, Tx. And Harmony Chiasson and her husband Eric of Oakdale, Conn, and four great-grandchildren, one sister Rita Premo of Rochester, NY. Mr. Duheme was predeceased by a brother Placid Duheme. Friends may call at the Caribou United Baptist Church, Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 12 noon until time of services which will be held at 1 pm. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery. Friends who wish to contribute in Joe’s memory may do so through the Caribou Untied Baptist Church Memorial Fund or the Jefferson Cary Cancer Center. Following the service all are invited for a time of followship and refreshments at the church dining hall.
