Joseph Donald Frederick Beaulieu, 78, died March 7, 2025 at Bangor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center following a period of declining health. He was born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, May 11, 1946 the son of the late Frederick D. and Harriet L. (Matchett) Beaulieu. He was a graduate of Fort Fairfield High School, and following high school graduation enlisted in the United States Army. Following his military service he worked for many years as a tile and brick mason. Joseph was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Caribou and of the St. John’s Catholic Church in Bangor. He had a passion for music that included playing guitar and singing. He enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with his friends.

Joseph is survived by his three children, Victoria Strainer and husband Mark of Argyle, NY, Donald Beaulieu and fiancée Karen King of Bangor, and Mark Beaulieu and wife Julie of Myrtle Beach, SC, siblings, Eileen Fields and partner Dean Condon of Mapleton, Patricia Tuttle and husband Brett of Presque Isle, a sister-in-law, Peggy Beaulieu of Caribou, grandchildren, Lily, Evan and Cameron Beaulieu of Myrtle Beach, SC, many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret (Waugh) Beaulieu, siblings, Lee Beaulieu and wife Sylvia, Joseph Beaulieu, Diane Belanger, and Lorraine Beaulieu, a special brother-in-law, Brian Fields.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the Parish of the Precious Blood - Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A time of continued fellowship and refreshments will take place in the church dining hall.
