New Sweden-John P. Anderson, 51, passed away unexpectedly April11, 2016 at his New Sweden residence. He was born in Caribou May 28, 1964 the son of Delbert and Helen (Johnson) Anderson. John was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Trombley Industries for many years. Surviving in addition to his parents of New Sweden are three brothers; James Anderson of Lebanon, PA., Craig Anderson of New Sweden and Gustaf Anderson and wife Heather of Caribou. Two sisters; Sarah Anderson and husband John Haney of Caribou and Cheryl Hawkes of East Machias. Nieces: Kirsten Haney, Nevaeh Anderson, Nicki, Jamie, Sheana, Kelly, April, and Jenny, nephews, Nicholas Anderson, Dennis, Levi, Adam, Mike, Chris and Joe. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his sister Sherry Anderson. Friends may visit with the family 2-4pm Saturday April 16, 106 at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou, where funeral services will be held at 4:00pm with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Interment will be later in the spring at the New Sweden Cemetery. Following the service all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the Connor School.
