CARIBOU – Joey R. White, 69, died unexpectedly February 10, 2017 doing what he loved, driving long haul truck near Rochester, NY. He was born in Caribou, December 17, 1947, the son of the late George and Mildred (Castonguay) White. Mr. White was a self-employed long haul truck driver, and owned and operated J.R. White and sons trucking for many years. He is survived by three sons, Joey White Jr. of Lake Whales, FL, George White and Patrick white both of Caribou, one daughter, Jody Cyr and fiancé Chad McNeal of Caribou, two sisters, Shirley Benson of Belgrade and Lillian Ryan of Chicago, three grandchildren, Trevor Cyr, Devin Cyr and fiancé Katelynn Tardie, and Tia Cyr, a great-granddaughter, Kandice Grace Tardie. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou from 4-7pm on Monday, February 20, 2017, with a prayer service being conducted at 7pm.
