Joseph Chamberlain

WOODLAND – Joseph C. Chamberlain, 75, died unexpectedly May 9, 2020 at his Woodland residence. He was born in Easton, July 13, 1944 the son of Dennis and Katherine (Makepeace) Chamberlain. On December 2, 1967 he married the love of his life, Gloria Gagnon, and together they shared 53 years  of marriage. Joseph worked for many years at M.J. Ouellette and Daughters. He was a master mechanic, truck driver, welder, foreman, project supervisor, and laborer. If there was a job to be done, Joe was your man. As his boss Mike would say, Joe was always my ace in the hole, always pulled me out and picked me up.”

Joe is survived by his wife, Gloria Chamberlain of Woodland, their daughter, Julie Chamberlain, and her fiancée Troy Haney of Caribou, a grandson, Jason Haney and his fiancée Mackenzie Belanger of Castle Hill, a granddaughter, Kacie Haney of Caribou, a special great-granddaughter, Charlee Ann Haney of Castle Hill, a brother, Rodney Chamberlain of Hermon, and a sister, Artie Fox of Indiana. He was predeceased by his parents, and 4 siblings, Reggie Makepeace, Norma Wagner, Philip and Clifford Chamberlain.
