WADE – Jerome A. Churchill, 73 husband of Erika (Schilder) Churchill died February 6, 2015 at Caribou. He was born in Wade, November 20, 1941 the son of the late Thomas and Alice (Carmichael) Churchill. He was a graduate of Washburn High School and served as a radioman with the US Navy during Vietnam. Mr. Churchill was employed by M & S Office Supply for many years and then by Levesque Office Supply. Following his retirement he was employed as a gatekeeper at North Maine Woods. He married Erika Schilder September 29, 1973. He was a member of the Dunntown Advent Christian Church and the Washburn Masonic Lodge. Jerome loved the outdoors, especially canoeing the Aroostook River. He enjoyed music and poetry. Surviving in addition to his wife of Wade are two sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew and Kolbie Churchill of Washburn and Thomas and Katherine Churchill of Salem, MA, his stepchildren James Vaughn and his significant other Debbie Graves of Wade, Brenda Foote and her husband Allan of Huachuca City, AZ, Mary Vaughn of CA, and Patricia Vaughn of MA, one brother T. Nathan Churchill of FL and Wade, one sister Wilma Hoyt of Chelsea, a sister-in-law, Jolita Churchill of GA, 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Churchill was predeceased by a brother, Dale and a sister, Lois. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou 1pm Sunday February 8, 2015 until time of services which will be held 2pm from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev.
