Irvine A. Pinette

December 8, 1944 — June 11, 2011

Irvin A. Pinette, 66, died June 11, 2011 at Caribou. He was born at Fort Kent, December 8, 1944, the son of Albert and Alma (Leblond) Pinette. He was employed at Pinkham Lumber for 20 years until his retirement in 1997 and also worked at St. Mary’s Catholic Church for 4 years. Irvin was a member of the National Guard and was a volunteer firefighter with the Presque Isle Fire Department. He married Marilyn (Dube) Pinette on October 31, 1964. Irvin’s great loves were his wife Marilyn of 47 years, his son Steven Pinette and his wife Sydne of Tucson, AZ; his daughter Laura Pinette of Albuquerque, NM; his granddaughters Danielle Pinette and Jade Romaine-Pinette and his special foster son Brandon. He is also survived by a brother Bert Pinette of Madawaska and a sister Theresa St.Onge of Oakville, CT. He was predeceased by a sister Bernadette Hunt. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was a self-taught carpenter and a “Jack of all Trades”. Dad was a great teacher, leading by example, always a gentleman, who’s kindness was without boundries. His hand was always extended to those in need. Our lives are forever touched by his gentle spirit and loving soul. A private gathering to celebrate Irvin’s life will be held at the Pinette residence. Don’t be sad I don’t want to see you cry I’m not forever away Nothing could ever Keep me that far away, People die, Just don’t plead, Why Know I’ll still answer To that nickname, Don’t weep when you hear it, Don’t be sad and never and never fear it, Speak to me As if I was still there, No weakening yourself With useless tears, Death cannot separate us, All my love And all my trust.
