Howard E. Rolfe

Caribou - Howard Everett Rolfe, 85, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Caribou. He was born in Bethel, May 9, 1936 the son of Bernard S. and Clara L. (Luxton) Rolfe. He was raised in West Bethel, and graduated from Gould Academy in 1954, where he played baseball on the academy team. Howard joined the United States Army Reserve and had 2 years of active duty. He then attended and graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in biology and was a biology teacher in Caribou until his retirement. Howard was a resident of Woodland since the late 1950's. He also remodeled homes part-time and loved hunting, fishing and outdoor sports.

Howard is survived by his brothers' Richard S. Rolfe, and wife Joanne of Niceville, FL, and Burton P. Rolfe of Arlington, TX, nephews, David, Phil, and James, nieces, Susan and Debbie.

The family would like to extend a thank you to all who cared for Howard during his brief illness. Military honors will be rendered Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 1pm at the Northern Maine Cemetery, Lombard Road, Caribou.
