CARIBOU - Helen Leila Widdecombe, 77 died September 26, 2011. She was born at New Sweden May 4, 1934 the daughter of Harold and Oleda (Green) Landeen. Helen worked as a Home Health Aide for over 40 years, and also volunteered many hours at Caribou Pet Rescue. She is survived by two sons Michael H. Chase and his wife Ernestina of Bloomfield, CT., and Bradley Chase of Manchester, CT. One brother Kendall D. Landeen and his wife Darlene of Caribou. Three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her husband Howard Chase one brother Harold Landeen and one sister Geraldine McEwen of Caribou. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street Caribou from 6-8 pm Thursday. Funeral Services will be held on Friday September 30, 2011 at 1pm from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Roger Jewell officiating. Interment will be at the Woodland Cemetery.
