Roderick Hartley

Caribou – Roderick  V. Hartley, 87, died September 26, 2018 at the Maine Veterans’ Home.  He was born in Caribou January 27, 1931, the son of the late Thomas and Edna (Jandreau) Hartley.  Mr. Hartley graduated from Caribou High School and joined the Navy in 1954.  After returning home, he was employed in the commercial printing business.  Mr.Hartley  is survived by one daughter Kelly and her husband Lance Bublitz of Loveland, Co., and one son Roy Hartley and his wife Holly of Colchester, Ct., four brothers, Kenneth Hartley and Dale Hartley both of Caribou, Greg Hartley of Rocky Hill, Ct., and John Hartley of E. Hartford, Ct., three sisters, Ruby Pelletier of Caribou, Frances Bureau  of Florida and Brenda Beaudet of Montana.  Four grandchildren, Jason Hartley, Heather Hartley, Madison Bublitz and Hayden Bublitz, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Private family services will be held at a later date.
