Glenna Bragg

January 26, 1936 — February 9, 2017

Washburn-Glenna F. Bragg, 81 wife of the late Richard N. Bragg died February 9, 2017 at Bangor. Glenna was born January 26, 1936 the youngest daughter of Millege and Eleanor (Farley) Dyer, Sr. After graduating Washburn High School in 1955, she was employed at Taterstate in Washburn for a number of years until she “retired” when the plant closed to enjoy her grandchildren. In 1991, her grandson Wade began head start and brought his Grammie to the first day and she stayed on for years after. She became known as Grammie Glenna to a generation of Washburn kids. Richard and Glenna enjoyed 4 wheeling in Richards retirement years. Glenna was a member of the Carson Road Pentecostal Church. Glenna was known for her love of children, (did not matter whose they were she loved them all). And for speaking her mind. Pastor Matt described it best when he said “You never have to wonder what sister Glenna is thinking just wait a minute and she will tell you “. Glenna is survived by four daughters and son in laws: Verna Espling and Darrell Sr, and Vera Longley, all of Caribou, Kathy Mosser and Donnie of Maryland, Paul Hebert of Van Buren, Ellie & Dean Jordan of Winterport. Grandchildren: Chuck Mosser-Jones & Tony Jones, Ricketta Belanger & Roland and their children Samuel, Desirae & Anna, Lance Longley & Lisa and their children Lariah & Logan, Samantha Landeen and Nick their children Lucas & Eliza, Darrell Espling Jr, & Jen and their children Paige & Caleb, Lacey Archer and her daughters Lily and Lila, Wade Snyder his partner Ashlee Ouellette and his daughters Ella & Jocelyn, and Rick Mosser. Many Nieces and nephews some who still call her by her pet name “Aunt Gongie”. She was predeceased by an infant son Bruce, a daughter Bonnie Hebert and two son in laws Chris Snyder and Eddie Longley, her siblings, Goldie Murphy, Hazel Goodine, Millege Dyer Jr. Carl Dyer, and Thelma Wambolt. She will be missed by many especially her great grandchildren, her close friends Carolyn Rossignol, Barb Churchill, Alice Curtis and her special little buddy A.J. Rossignol. Friends may call 7-9 pm Wednesday February 15, 2017 at the Carson Road Pentecostal Church, where funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Thursday with Pastor Matt Palmer, officiating. Interment will be in the Riverside Extension Cemetery. Following the services all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments in the church dining hall.
