Woodland-Frederick Lewis Finnemore, 71, passed away June 18, 2015 at his Woodland residence with his family by his side. He was born in Caribou September 28, 1943 the son of the late Lewis and Mary (Burgess) Finnemore. He attended the Caribou Schools and on August 22, 1967, he married Gloria Barnum. Mr. Finnemore served with the 152nd Field Artillery Army National Guard for over 20 years and was employed as a carpenter for J.P. Martin Construction for many years. Fred was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Woodland and was also a member of the Aroostook Valley ATV Club. Mr. Finnemore is survived by two daughters and sons in law; Lisa and Mike Lizotte of Appomattox, VA., and Lynda and Jay Gustafson of Woodland, One son, and daughter in law, David and Stephanie Finnemore of Topeka, KS. One sister, Lorraine Hobbs of Houlton. His grandchildren; Miranda and Cameron Lizotte of Appomattox, VA., Derek Fox of Norfolk, VA., Jared Fox of Woodland, and Matthew and Elizabeth Finnemore both of Topeka, KS. Several nieces and nephews. Mr. Finnemore was predeceased by his wife Gloria, December 18, 2014. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou 1:00pm Sunday June 21, 2014 until time of services which will be held at 3:00pm from the funeral home with Rev. Ron Rosser, officiating. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery.
